Genesis of a cover – Ghosts Of War Issue #1

Every book has a cover. That’s easy, right? But your book, the one you get mad at writing, should have a great cover! But even the greatest artist of all time cannot understand what the Hell you want if you’re not able to deliver the right message. It’s a different way to sell your work, isn’t it? What you have to do is sell the basic idea of your book to another person, the artist, to help him/her to maximize his/her efforts. Is it easy? It should be, because you’re a goddamn author / publisher and that’s a part of your work.

Why do I need my own trademark?

As promised earlier this week, this is the first post of a series dedicated to my most recent project – Ghosts Of War. Today it will be about the need of a symbol, of an anchor for my activity as a writer. Yes, I’ve created a logo, an image of a trademark that will be on all my eBooks written in english.

To be fair, I have to say that I’ve had an idea about this logo. Without Elena Betti, a very talented woman who got the patience of a Saint, you will not be able to see my logo. Sad but true, I’m unable to use even the simpliest image-related software without disasters. All right, back to the topic. Why a trademark?
